General Operating Fund Envelopes are available from the church office. The use of envelopes significantly improves the speed and accuracy of the offering counting process. White envelopes in the sanctuary pew racks may also be used.

BUDGETED FUNDS:

• Black Forest Academy, Germany, (PC(USA)), a boarding school primarily serving children of missionaries.

• Campus Crusade for Christ (Paul and Janet West)

• Detroit Presbytery Shared Missions, PC (USA)

• Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship mobilizes and empowers congregations to bring good news of the kingdom into cultures where the church has yet to take root.

• Habitat for Humanity builds new homes and refurbishes existing homes for low income families.

• Hope Clinic, Ypsilanti, is an interdenominational medical and social service organization providing compassionate and practical help to those in need.

• International Teams missionaries Mike and Elvira Babcock work in summer camps for orphans and street children in Romania.

• Presbyterian Shared Mission Support funds mission areas for which the PC(USA) is directly responsible.

• Riverside Community Gathering, Ypsilanti, is a community meal and fellowship program for otherwise isolated and fragile individuals, with sponsorship and participation by several local churches and groups.

• Theological Education Fund, PC(USA), supports seminary students within the Presbytery of Detroit.

• Youth With A Mission, a worldwide organization dedicated to evangelism, merciful service and discipleship which began with the idea that young adults could be missionaries. Westminster member Rachel Smallish Dziku and her husband Maxwell currently serve in Ghana.

• Westminster’s Garden 4 Good grows vegetables for local meal programs for the hungry.

• Westminster mission trips are sponsored each year by Westminster for families, teens and adults.

• Discretionary funds are available for unexpected needs for mission support and for administrative expenses.

FAITH PROMISE FUNDS:

• Ecumenical Center and International Residence (ECIR), a reconciling, international, interfaith learning and living community providing ministries for students and faculty.

• Friends in Deed, Ypsilanti, provides emergency financial assistance for needs such as utility bills, rent and transportation.

• House by the Side of the Road, a local clothing distribution center supported by Ann Arbor churches

• Interfaith Hospitality Network and Alpha House provides temporary housing, food and support for homeless families.

• PC (USA) Medical Benevolence Foundation equips doctors, nurses and engineers for volunteer work in medical mission programs worldwide

• Ministerio de Fe builds houses and supplies medical and spiritual services to families in Mexico.

• O. C. International, Brazil, led by David Kornfield, is dedicated to mobilizing godly and effective church leaders to reach all nations.

• PC (USA) special offerings include Presbyterian Disaster Assitance, One Great Hour of Sharing and Christmas Joy

• Prison Fellowship Ministries serves prisoners and their families

• Samaritan Counseling Center, Ypsilanti, provides cost-effective counseling, psychotherapy and preventive education using psychological, theological and medical disciplines to treat the whole person

• Spanish Language Institute, Costa Rica, directed by former Westminster member Julie Chamberlain, equips Christian missionaries to serve the Spanish-speaking world

• Staples Family Center, sponsored by Salvation Army, is a shelter program for the homeless with emphasis on transitioning to permanent housing

• Young Life of Washtenaw County, a Christian outreach to teens

• undesignated Faith Promise donations are distributed equally to all Faith Promise causes
