Receiving The Link online saves paper, printing costs and postageDue to recent changes in US Post Office procedures, The Link can travel to your mail box truly at a snail’s pace. To receive your copy much sooner – and to “be green” and to save money in Westminster’s budget – sign up below to receive The Link via email (and unsubscribe from the print mail version). You’ll receive an email during the last week of each month with a link to The Link. You can print it (in color or not) so you and all your family members can read it at your leisure. The email highlights Link articles as well as major church events in the month ahead, plus recently updated information on our church web site. The next Link deadline is the 15th of the month, for items to appear in the following month’s issue. Items submitted for publication in The Link are posted on the website as soon as they are received—generally the same day and always within 24 hours. Read previous issues of The Link: The Link, Westminster’s print newsletter, is published at the beginning of each month. It may also be viewed online as a PDF file. All articles in The Link are posted on the appropriate page in this website and may be viewed using the hyperlinks on the Home and News pages. The deadline for each issue is the 15th of the prior month. Submit articles electronically (attached Word documents preferred) or in the Link mailbox in the church office. The editor will always confirm receipt of articles submitted electronically. Articles may be edited for length or content. When giving contact information in articles, please include both phone numbers and email addresses. When submitting photos for The Link, remember that close-ups of a few faces are preferable to group shots. For good reproduction in print, faces need to be about the size of a dime. When taking digital pictures, please check your camera settings, as 300 pixels per inch is the minimum usable resolution for print. Photos may be submitted as digital files or developed chemically on photographic paper. To receive email notification of each month’s online posting of The Link, email your request to the Westminster web editor. To receive The Link in the mail each month, email the church office and include your full mailing address. Please contact the newsletter and web editor with questions and comments.
