But in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:67) What is a prayer covenant? It’s an agreement with one other person to pray for each other and for Westminster Presbyterian Church daily for 30 days. After 30 days each of you may find another person to join with in a new prayer covenant. In time the prayer connections will form a web encompassing our whole church. Why do it?Lifting each other up in prayer is a wonderful and supportive ministry for both. We grow in our individual relationship with God as we pray for others. We grow in our corporate relationship with God as more and more in our congregation pray regularly for Westminster.
